We organize FREE, public environmental seminars every 1st Saturday of the month that cover topics and issues pertinent to the Lower Cape Fear River Basin.
We partner with New Hanover County Schools and the City of Wilmington to teach every New Hanover County eighth grader about the impacts polluted storm water has on the our region’s water quality through the Enviroscape® tool.
We offer internships for students, especially for those who have an interest in environmental science.
We lead Eco-Tours at Greenfield Lake. $3/person. $20 minimum.
CFRW offers water quality education programs to civic groups, schools, developers, homeowner associations, trade associations, and other organizations, and provides storm-water management training for local government staff.

Cape Fear River Watch, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, has been working to protect and improve the water quality of the Lower Cape Fear River Basin through Education, Advocacy, and Action since 1993. Cape Fear River Watch engages residents of our watershed through programs to preserve and safeguard our river.
